Britney Bennett

Originally from Bristol, TN, Britney Bennett has been a member of the Dallas Brass Band since 2022. Britney graduated from James Madison University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Music Industry and additional coursework in Music and Human Services Minor, studying trumpet from Dr. Chris Carrillo. 
 

Currently, Britney attends Texas Woman’s University where she is earning her Master’s degree in Music Therapy. Additionally, Britney is the Lessons Area Coordinator at a local Guitar Center where she helps bring the world of music to young musicians!
 

Britney performed with the James Madison University Brass Band, North America’s premiere collegiate brass band, from 2018 to 2022. In the summer of 2022, Britney traveled with the JMU Brass Band to Kerkrade, The Netherlands where the band competed at the World Music Contest. Additionally, Britney was a member of the band when they placed 2nd in the championship division at the North American Brass Band Association Competition during the years 2019 and 2022.
