Dallas Youth Brass Band

The Dallas Brass Band is committed toward nurturing the next generation of brass and percussion musicians of North Texas by fostering a passion for excellence and a lifelong appreciation for the brass band tradition. To this end, the Dallas Brass Band has created the Dallas Youth Brass Band to provide an unparalleled educational experience, mentorship from our accomplished musicians, and a supportive community where young artists can develop their skills, creativity, and musical leadership. Through our devotion to artistic growth and personal development, we aim to create a vibrant and inclusive environment that celebrates and enriches the cultural fabric of our region.
 

Similar in structure to a region band clinic and concert, the Dallas Youth Brass Band will meet for its inaugural weekend of rehearsals and concert on November 16 and 17. Registered students will rehearse all day Saturday, Sunday afternoon, and perform Sunday evening. Interspersed throughout the weekend will be multiple sectionals and masterclasses ensuring an exceptionally well-rounded educational experience for each student.

Middle school and high school students of all levels and ages are encouraged to register. There will be separate dedicated ensembles for middle school and high school students.

 

Following student performances, the Dallas Brass Band will conclude the weekend performing its own concert! This will be a weekend experience you and your child won't want to miss!​
